LODGING
Hotel Portillo’s rooms are cozy and warm. There are a variety of room types, including: doubles, family apartments and suites. Some of the rooms have a mountain view from the valley side while the rest have a view of the lake. The lake view is especially spectacular. Our rooms do not have TV. Instead, we encourage our guests to take part in our many activities, to utilize the facilities, and to disconnect from the day-to-day routine. Rooms come with telephones, safes, hairdryers, mini-bars, and Internet access (Portillo has Wi-Fi connection throughout the hotel as well as a modern Internet Room).
Chile uses 220 volts, so be sure to bring a transformer if you bring your own electronics. Our housekeeping staff acts as your personal valets, and they will help you with whatever you need, whether it is a band-aid, laundry or a mending job. Housekeepers live on each floor.

ROOMS TYPES

Double Lake rooms come with two twin beds or one queen size bed and offer a full bath. These rooms overlook the beautiful Inca Lake, the Plateau slope and the resort.

Double Lake rooms with queen size beds can be requested, but their confirmation will depend on availability.

Double Valley rooms come with two twin beds or one queen-size bed and offer a full bath. Double Valleys have views looking out over the Andes, the road, and the Conejo slope.

Queen-size beds can be requested, but their confirmation will depend on availability.

6th floor Double The double rooms located on the 6th floor have a lake view and balconies. The view and the extra balcony space make these rooms some of our most popular.

Double Lake 6th Floor rooms with queen-size beds can be requested, but their confirmation will depend on availability.

Suites are located on the 2nd and 6th floors, and all have lake views. Each suite features a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, dressing area, living area and balcony. The windows are larger than in the doubles, enabling guests to further enjoy the impressive view of the Inca Lake.
Octagon Lodge:As an economical lodging alternative we offer our Octagon Lodge, a small lodge just steps away from Hotel Portillo. Each room offers four spacious bunks and a private bathroom. These are great deals for families and groups of friends. Guests in the Octagon Lodge enjoy all of the hotel's services including meals in the main dining room.

The Octagon Lodge is considered shared accommodations and therefore each guest reserves a bunk bed. Consequently, guests travelling alone will likely share a room with other guests of the same gender.

The Inca Lodge is our backpacker's lodge and is located only 30 steps away from the Hotel. Rooms are small and bathrooms are communal: one for women, one for men. The Inca is the cheapest way to enjoy Portillo and is best used by guests under thirty or guests who don't mind a bit more noise. It is the meeting place for young skiers and boarders from all over the world. Inca guests take their meals in the self-service cafeteria, but otherwise have access to all hotel facilities. At an additional charge Inca guests may also eat in the main dining room.

The Inca Lodge is considered shared accommodations and therefore each guest reserves a bunk bed. Consequently, guests travelling alone will likely share a room with other guests of the same gender.
